Sports Rules

For wagering purposes, games will be considered official after:

  • FOOTBALL (NFL &NCAA)
    55 minutes of play

  • BASKETBALL (NBA)
    43 minutes of play

  • BASKETBALL (NCAA)
    35 minutes of play

  • HOCKEY (NHL)
    55 minutes of play

  • BASEBALL SIDES (MLB)
5 innings (4 ½ if home team is ahead)

  • BASEBALL TOTALS & RUNLINES (MLB)
9 innings (8 ½ if home team is ahead)

Special Baseball Rules

BASEBALL (SIDES) - The result of a game is official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4.5 innings. If a game is called, or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the LAST FULL COMPLETED INNING. If the game is called and the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the current inning the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Baseball games will NOT carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified.

Baseball - Second Halfs
Wagering on the MLB second halves is similar as betting on a Football or Basketball second half. The wagers will be graded based on the score from the top of the 6th inning and until the end of the game. For the wagers to be official, the game has to be a complete game (i.e. 9 innings, or 8½ innings if the home team is ahead). Extra inning runs count towards the spread and the side.

World Baseball Classic Specific Rules:
1) Bottom team does not necessarily bat last.
2) Games will end early if a team is leading by 10 or more runs after the opposing team has batted in at least 7 innings OR if a team is leading by 15 or more runs after the opposing team has batted in at least 5 innings. If this happens, all bets have action (including run line and total).

Pitchers
Action Pitchers
Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher. "Action" bets will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.

One Listed pitcher
A wager on or against a specified pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher.
Both specified pitchers (listed)
If starting pitchers are not exactly as listed on betting display board and/or your ticket, your bet will be deemed "no action".
Both Listed pitchers
If starting pitchers are not exactly as listed on betting display board and/or your ticket, your bet will be deemed "no action".
Note: If there is a pitching change prior to the game, money odds may be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against any unscheduled pitcher, "action" wagers will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch

WagerWatchWin does not recognize postponed games that have not started (rain delay, etc.) protests or overturned decisions for wagering purposes. All baseball wagers must go the day written, otherwise there is no action and all monies are refunded on games that have been postponed and have not started or have not played the required minimum 4.5 innings for the game money lines to be action.

BASEBALL (TOTALS & RUNLINES) - Game must go 9 full innings, or 8 ½ if the home team is ahead to have action. Note* All Baseball wagers (sides, totals and run lines) are accepted based on the "LISTED" pitchers. In the event of a pitching change prior to start of game, all wagers will be considered "NO ACTION”. Both "LISTED" pitchers must start and throw at least one pitch to have action.

Other Rules

  • NASCAR (MATCHUPS)
Both drivers must start race in order for "match up" to have action.
  • NASCAR (ODDS TO WIN)
Driver must start race in order to have action.
  • Note* Official Results posted by NASCAR will be used for grading all NASCAR events. Race must be run within one week of scheduled date to have action. Official results will also apply in grading should an event be shortened. (*Exception being any props that may be posted, in which case, event must complete scheduled distance to have action.).
  • GOLF (MATCHUPS)
Both players must tee off in order for "match-up" to have action. Player with most completed holes wins. If players complete same number of holes, then player with lowest score wins. If both players in "match-up" are in a playoff, then player who wins playoff wins.
  • GOLF (ODDS TO WIN)
Player must tee off in order to have action.
  • Note* Official results will be used for grading all golf wagers. Tournament must be completed within one week of scheduled date to have action. Official results will also apply in grading should a tournament be shortened.
  • BOXING
If a "DRAW" is on the board as a wagering option, and the fight ends in a "DRAW", then only those who bet the "DRAW" will be deemed winners and all wagers on either fighter will be graded as losers. However, if a "DRAW" was not a wagering option, and fight ends in a "DRAW", then all monies will be refunded. Note* Exception to this rule would be if the "DRAW" was listed as a separate wager, (i.e. proposition wagers, etc.)
  • SOCCER
All soccer wagers are based on the first 90 minutes of play plus injury time only. A money-line or a DRAW line may be offered If a DRAW was a wagering option and the score is tied at the end of the first 90 minutes plus injury time, then all SIDE wagers will be graded as a loser and the DRAW as a winner. However if either team wins in the first 90 minutes plus injury time, then DRAW wagers will be graded a loser.
  • SOCCER(Futures and Props)
    1. Wagers made on a team winning a specific cup or trophy will have action through Extra Time and Penalty Kicks.
For example, a bet made on Manchester to win the Champions League Trophy would have action through Extra Time and Penalty Kicks and would be graded on the result after those added sessions(if they were needed to be played).

    2. Player Proposition: A proposition bet concerning if a player will score, or not score, in a specific match includes regulation time (plus injury time) only. Own goals do not count. For wagers to have action, the player must start the match. Bets on any player who does not start the match will be cancelled.

    3. Yellow Card Propositions:
*For grading purposes, only yellow cards are included for Total Yellow Card Propositions. When a player receives a second yellow card (and as a result, a red card), the player will have been shown two yellow cards.
*If a player receives a straight red card, he will not necessarily have been shown a yellow card previously in the match. Therefore, a straight red card is not included in the grading of Total Yellow Card propositions.
For example, a game with two yellow cards and a straight red card would be graded as two yellow cards; Or, a game with two players with one yellow card each and one player with a red card (as a result of two yellow cards for the same player) would be graded as four yellow cards.
    * For betting purposes all yellow cards shown to any player count(this includes those playing or sitting on the bench). Any cards shown to "non-playing" staff do not count.

    4. Head to Head Matchup Propositions: For grading purposes, wagers will be graded based on the completion of each of the competition's stages (i.e. qualifying rounds, group stages, quarterfinals, etc.) and not based on who is eliminated first. In other words, if one team is eliminated in the semifinals based on a Tuesday match result and the other team is also eliminated in the semifinals based on a Wednesday match result, wagers would be graded no action.

    5. In any match with a forfeit, all wagers will have no action, regardless of how the governing body of that league scores a forfeit.

    6. Any discipline (yellow card, red card, sending off) that occurs after the whistle that ends regulation time will not count toward related
    propositions for that match.

    7. Corner Kick Proposition: For grading purposes, Corner Kicks which happen in periods of extra time are not included. Only Corner Kicks which take place during regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included.

    8. Offside's Proposition: For grading purposes, Offside's which happen in periods of extra time are not included. Only Offside's which take place during regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included.

    9. Exact Score and Both Teams to Score Propositions: For grading purposes, only goals in regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included.

    10. For halftime/fulltime score propositions, only goals in regulation time or any added injury time will count. If match does not go full time, then all wagers on this proposition will be refunded.

    11. For correct score propositions, only goals in regulation time or any added injury time will count. If the score is 0-0 in Full Time, then no goals or exact score of 0-0 will be declared the winner.

    12. A Clean Sheet will be defined as a team not allowing a goal in regulation or added injury time only. Any goals allowed in Extra Time or Penalty shootouts will not affect this wager.

    13. For "will a team have a clean sheet and win" propositions, the team must have a clean sheet(as defined above) and be ahead at the end of regulation/injury time. If the team is not ahead at the end of regulation/injury time, then the related proposition will be graded NO.

Example: Manchester lead 2-0 and are currently offered at -3. If Manchester win by 4 goals or more, bettors backing Manchester -3 win, and bettors backing the opposition at +3 lose. If Manchester win by exactly 3 goals, all bets struck at Manchester -3 or the opponents +3 are refunded. If Manchester win the match by two goals, or win by one goal, or do not win the match, bettors backing Manchester -3 lose, and bettors backing the opposition +3 win.

    2. Unless otherwise specified, Live Betting wagers on the outcome of a match will be decided based on two halves of 45 minutes each and any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages. It does not include periods of extra time nor penalty shootouts.

    3. Unless otherwise stated at the time of offer, bets on live matches stand if and only if the match reaches full time.

    4. If a match is suspended before full time is reached, and not completed the same day, Live Betting wagers on the outcome of the match are considered void and all stakes shall be returned.

    5. Live betting wagers are accepted dependent on upcoming events in the Soccer match. Clients may or may not accept these terms by confirming or not confirming the wager with their password. All Live Betting Soccer wagers are subject to deletion from the account.

    6. We reserve the right to cancel any wager made on an obvious "bad" line or delay.

    7. This sportsbook cannot guarantee that odds will be offered at any specific time during the match; odds will not regularly be offered after the 85 minutes of play.

  • TENNIS
    Retirement or Disqualification:
    • 1. Head to Head Matchups:
Two full sets must be completed for wagers to stand. If less than 2 sets are completed, all wagers will be considered void.
      First Set Betting:
If the first set is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all wagers will be considered void. Such wagers will be cancelled and the monies refunded.
    • 2. Sets Betting:
If a tennis match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all Set wagers will be considered void. Such wagers will be cancelled and the monies refunded.
  •

Delay or Suspension:

1. If a tennis match is completed, all wagers stand as written. A delay in the start of a match will not affect the standing of wagers, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed.

2. In the event a match does not go the specified number of sets, and the match is shortened by tournament officials, the leader determined to be official by tournament officials shall be the winner.
Example: A match is scheduled for 5 sets, but only 3 sets can be played because of weather. The leader at the end of 3 sets would be declared the winner of the match.

Futures (Ante post) Betting:
All futures (Ante post) bets have action. Should a player withdraw before a tournament begins, or retire during a tournament, bets on that player to win the tournament lose.
